The Seal 90 specs matches his weight perfectly for SUP.

He's dad, Peter (pioneer on the Danish SUP scene) is also using the board for windsurfing when conditions are light.

Sealion Big Contest ENTRY FORM

Mondial Sealion 2 June 12 -13th Audierne - France

1- The event:
This is a FRIENDLY contest, first and foremost a get-together of all those who fancy the SeaLion!
Paddling and sailing fun contests will be organised in Audierne and the miscellaneous spots nearby, according to weather conditions, all along the week-end.
A WOO OC4 Challenge (Hawaiian outrigger) will also take place just before the great Saturday night party.

2- Categories:
Two categories have been created, so that everybody can enjoy the fun, whatever his level.
EXPERT: for those who master the SeaLion in waves.
COOL: for all those who want to try and enjoy the SeaLion

3- Disciplines:
SeaLion SUP: heats of 6 paddling riders, either in « Slalom 8 » figures on the flat or in surf on the waves.
Sealion Surfsailing: heats of 6 sailing riders, either in « Slalom 8 » figures on the flat or in surf on the waves.
OC4: WOO Challenge for those who dare to try this fantastic toy in paddling sprints or wave surfing!

4- Registration:
Registration shall close on June 1st 2010.
The registration fee is Euros 35 and includes:
An entry in the races and an entry in the gifts raffle.
The event’s exclusive t-shirt
A free-ticket to the barbecue party and night-music on Saturday night.
A free-ticket to the Crêpes lunch on Sunday

6-Liability:
Each and every rider enters in the event under his own responsibility. Should an incident happen, the rider commits to put his own third-party liability policy to play.
The organisers shall not be bound by damages caused to the equipment or any other damage.
Riders commit to take consideration of other participants and the nature.

An Xtra wide approach of surfing

Fly over your spot in pure surfing conditions and on medium quality waves: this is the Seal target!

For 2010, we have refreshed the concept with one single volume and a fully redesigned shape which retains the original Seal s qualities and improves on them:

Booming speed and manoeuvrability in lower wind forces and sailsurfing conditions or soft waves.

The outline and bottom shape have been designed to shootout at the first foot pressure and keep accelerating where a traditional waveboard peaks out.

Balance, stability and aptitude to relocate in nonplaning mode:

Get quickly back to the peak. Keep your feet in the straps, get-up and plane at the first puff.

The AHD New Seal has an extended surfing range.

In higher wind forces:

Its outline is inverted aft, which hangs on better and offers more grip and tighter more precise curves.

The thruster fins slice through the water without failing under foot pressure.

In lower wind forces:

This new shape has been developed to offer an excellent strapless performance, with an ability to turn at slow speeds and remain flat on the water in the lightest conditions.

Strapless sailing, is both formative and exhilarating, it will help you improve your surfing and develop a better feet stance!

No wind:

Thanks to its full deckpad this board is both comfortable and resistant and it has a leashplug, so why not try surfing in dead calms?

Aujourd'hui, un seul volume reprend le flambeau, dans un shape re etudie en gardant toutes les qualites du modele original:

Vitesse et maniabilite explosive a bas regime, dans les conditions de surf à voile ou dans les vagues molles.
